New Forest West
in Ringwood, Labour councillors and campaigners are part of the community all year round, engaging with residents to understand their concerns.
In 2023 alone, Ringwood Labour has already had over 1,000 doorstep conversations with residents. These conversations have covered a wide range of issues, from potholes and parking to green spaces and road safety. By listening to the concerns of their constituents, councillors and campaigners have been able to work proactively to resolve problems and improve the lives of local people.
It’s not just during election time that Ringwood Labour is engaging with residents. They are out most weekends, all year round, knocking on doors and listening to what people have to say. This commitment to listening and understanding is crucial in building trust and creating effective solutions.
One issue that has repeatedly come up in conversations with Ringwood residents is potholes. Potholes may seem like a small issue, but they can cause real problems for drivers and cyclists. Labour councillors have been working hard to ensure that potholes are repaired quickly and efficiently.
As Ringwood continues to grow, parking has become an increasingly pressing issue. Labour councillors have been working with residents to find solutions that work for everyone and resolving issues such as ensuring designated spaces for disabled residents.
Green spaces are also a key concern for many Ringwood residents. These spaces provide a place to relax, exercise, and connect with nature. Labour councillors have been working to protect and enhance green spaces in the area, most notably at Forestside Gardens.
Finally, road safety is a critical issue for everyone in Ringwood. Labour councillors have been working to make roads safer for pedestrians, cyclists, and motorists. Where you have raised concerns, we have ensured a speed patrol has gone out to monitor the situation.
By engaging with you, we have been able to proactively address issues and work towards creating a better future for everyone in the area.
